We held the 10th HSC conference at Meijo Water Treatment Center (Kita Ward,　Nagoya City) on February 25th,2012. About 120 people, citizens and administrative person concerned, attended the conference.

The pilot project of TRWKR (Transmission of Raw Water from Kiso River) started in April,2007 and ended in March, 2012.

 We made a generalization about the investigation result by citizens and Nagoya City government for five years and discussed future activities for clarification and reclamation of Horikawa River in this important conference.

 And we concluded that we have a lot of things to continue surveying about Horikawa River after TRWKR.

As a result, be it resolved that

 ⇒We’ll continue surveying on Horikawa River to grasp the river’s condition and specify the cause of water pollution by data.

 ⇒and take measures and make a prescription

 ⇒Citizens and government will cooperate for clarification and reclamation of Horikawa River and do what they can

We decided to do what we can do as a citizen as followings

for the purpose of restart of TRWKR,

spreading the circle of people who love Horikawa River moreover

spreading exchanges with people in river basins such as Nagara River and Ibi River at a citizen level

taking a action to take care of domestic wastewater on rainy days and making an experiment to reduce pollution load from domestic wastewater by reusing spent masks

So HSC will make a new start and just take a new step toward the 11th stage from April to June
